This stunning 100% Australian grown and produced Fine Merino is sourced from Yuruga Plains. This is very low traveled yarn, only needing to come from Victoria, over Bass Strait to get to Tassie. You can read more about Yuruga Plains, their farm and their practices here: yurugaplains.com.au
The 'FARMLAND' bases are NON SUPERWASH - meaning it is hand wash only. Gently squeeze out excess water out of your finished projects and lay flat to dry. Machine washing will cause this yarn to shrink and felt.
The 50g skeins are prepared and split by hand. Please only order 1 x 50g skein per colour needed and use the 100g skeins to make up the bulk of yarn required for your project. It is easier for me and cheaper for you.

DETAILS
My yarn comes in skeins and need to be wound into a ball or yarn cake before use. While some folks find this an exciting start to their project, if you would like to skip this part, add my SKEIN WINDING SERVICE to your order. It's a $2.50 donation per skein, heading to a Launceston community based charity.
While every attempt has been made to accurately photograph the yarn colours, sometimes they do appear differently through a screen than in real life. If you have a concern, reach out, and I may be able to help you choose the right colour before you purchase.
The different bases will pick up the dye differently, and each batch, as they are all hand dyed, will be unique. Please make sure you are buying enough to complete your project.
